NEW PATIENT > Your First Visit
- Bring along any medical history or breeding history that you have regarding your pet.
- Bring along the phone number and address of any previous veterinarians or breeder in the event that we need further information.
- Make a list of any questions or concerns that you may have.
- Bring the bottles of any medicines, vitamins, supplements, etc. that you give your pet.
- Bring the bag or name of food that you are currently feeding your pet.
- Bring a fresh stool sample- not a large amount - a 2" piece is sufficient. Cat litter will not pose a problem. This is not a must, as we have our ways of procuring a sample if need be.
- Bring in a urine sample if there has been concern about inappropriate or excessive urination, bloody urine, or particularly strong smelling urine. Again, this is not a must, as we can usually collect a sample from your pet once you arrive.
Prior to your visit you are welcome to download the online forms and fill out the information. It will help make your first visit as stress-free as possible.
We set the bar high in the standards of veterinary care. In order to express this importance, when you come in for your first visit, please allow at least 40 minutes for your appointment time. Our doctors like to spend additional time with you in order to visit with you about our clinic, services we offer, gain an insight and background history on your pet(s), and provide your pet with a thorough exam and necessary treatments.
