Reno turns 2 years old this month!! When he was just a few months old, he had to spend 7 weeks at our clinic because his mom was in a very serious accident. He has long since made up for that absence by being her constant shadow. When visitors are over (especially grandchildren), he becomes the most calm, cool and collected dog on the planet. He “parks” himself in one of their laps and does not budge for much of anything. However, when they leave, he becomes wild and wacky and returns to the crazy dog who stole his parents hearts from day one.
Reno and his two other golden retreiver housemates Ruby and Chowder are the best of buds. Ruby is a search and rescue dog and she and Chowder both are certified therapy dogs. Reno’s day in the limelight is coming eventually as well.
